Events 3-4 October: Member city Leuven will host the Indian Summit delegation. 6 October 2010: The Indian EuroIndia Summit delegation will meet European companies in Brussels under the aegis of Business Europe. 7-8 October 2010: The French Ministry of Energy, Ecology, Sustainable Development and the Sea will host in Paris the Indian Summit delegation with a special programme, together with the National Agency for Urban Renovation. 12 October 2010: The EuroIndia Environment Sustainability City Award will be unveiled at the Halle Summit.

News October 2010: Our EuroIndia Ecologically Sustainable City Award will be launched at the Halle EuroIndia Summit. July 2010: Formal application with the European Commission for funding a Euro-Indian-Chinese Cooperation Project: "From pilot to sustainable towns: satellite cities and metropolitan governance", in partnership with European New Towns Platform has been made, involving Ahmedabad and Naya Raipur. Clearance expected in September. 21-26 June 2010: Indian mission on "Affordable Housing" to France and Spain. May 2010: Co-President, Dr Harjit Singh Anand met with Chandrajit Banerjee, Secretary General of the Confederation of Indian Industry. It was agreed to extend our strategic partnership for five more years. In France, the mission was hosted by Val de Reuil, Agence Nationale de Rénovation Urbaine, Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development (MEEDDM), SEMAPA, the Architects' Guild. In Spain the mission was hosted by Casa de la India, Barcelona, Promo Madrid, Castilla-Leon region and its Chamber of Commerce, ADEuropa, Valladolid and its Chamber of Commerce.
