Institutional membership:
The company/institution needs to return the membership application form to the Secretary General for his vetting. Membership will come into force upon encashment of the membership fee. Click here for the application form.
Individual membership is reserved to a person who cannot apply under any company/institution’s name. This person will have to answer the following questions:
1. What would be your proposed personal contribution to promoting Euro-Indian relations and to the Centre?
2. What are your expectations from The Centre?
3. What are your personal and/or institutional particulars?
4. What is your reference among current members, if any?
The Secretary General may submit the application to the Board for approval, the decision of which is final.
Validity:
Membership is valid for the on-going calendar year when the payment of the membership fee is made.
Membership is tacitly renewed on the 1st of January every year, barring notification by the member one month before the end of the on-going calendar year.
Loss of membership:
Membership is lost when:
1. A member sends his resignation to the Board by registered post. Membership dues for the on-going year are, however, fully due by the resigning member.
2. A member notifies non-renewal of his membership at the expiry of the on-going calendar year within the deadline stipulated to that effect.
3. Death of individual members.
4. The liquidation, for any reason whatsoever, of legal entities.
5. Expulsion, as decided by the Board for non-payment of membership dues or for serious reasons such as violation of the present Articles and Memorandum of association, adversely affecting the interests or the credit of the Association.
