4th EuroIndia Summit
City Vision: Reinventing Dynamic and Sustainable Cities
10th - 12th October 2010, Halle (Saale)
Summary:
After three successful annual Summits in India (Goa) and Europe (Valladolid, Spain), the EuroIndia Centre will hold its fourth Summit in Halle (Saale) in the State of Saxe-Anhalt (Germany), close to Leipzig, on 10-12 October 2010.
Top leaders of Indian and European Cities, their local stakeholders, companies, academic and research institutions, professionals, NGO’s and their parent Regions/States are cordially invited:
1. To get first-hand exposure to the best European/Indian sustainable urban practices, through expert discussions and field visits, with a special focus on Environmental Sustainability and Green Energy.
2. To interact with the most innovative Indian/European Cities and Regions/States and the keenest to enter into co-operative partnerships in the areas of Knowledge management, Investments and business, Tourism and Excellence in urban governance (K.I.T.E).
3. To take advantage of individual Business to Civic, Civic to Civic, Business to Business meetings organized on demand.
Before the Summit, Indian participants will be invited to join the official Indian Summit delegation of high-level representatives of federate States and Cities led by a senior representative of the Government of India that is slated to attend Open Days 2010 in Brussels, the largest gathering of European regions, to visit Leuven in Belgium and Paris
